Upscale Image
Canvas resampling enlarges the image locally — files are never uploaded. Enlarging changes the pixels, so it is not lossless.

High-quality resampling reduces jaggies but cannot restore detail the original never had — this is not AI super-resolution.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the image uploaded?
- No. The enlargement happens locally in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
- Is the enlargement lossless?
- No. Any enlargement changes the pixels and cannot restore detail the original never had; Lanczos-style resampling keeps the edges as sharp as possible, but it is not lossless.
- How is this different from AI super-resolution?
- This tool runs no AI model and never invents new detail, which makes it a good fit for private photos and ID photos. AI super-resolution can look sharper but needs an upload or a large model download.
- How large can it go?
- 2x, 3x and 4x are supported. If an edge would exceed 16384px or the memory budget is exceeded, you are asked to lower the factor or shrink the source first.
